SEO and sharing
Search title and description, the share card, per-page settings, and traffic.
The SEO tab
Open your site and pick SEO.
- Page title and Description are what search engines and link previews show. Leave either blank and nertia makes one from your site's words.
- Social preview is the card people see when they share a link. nertia captures your hero on first open. Upload your own image, or capture again after a change.
- Show advanced reveals the canonical URL, the indexing switch, a schema.org type, keywords and a Twitter handle. Draft sites are hidden from search engines on their own.
Press Save SEO settings. The live site picks them up on the next publish.
Per page
Each page has its own search title, description, canonical URL, indexing switch and share image. Open the Pages tab in the editor and press the gear on a page. A field left blank inherits the site's value. Hidden pages stay live but out of the nav.
Your own domain
Once a custom domain is connected, the SEO tab offers Launch on {domain}. It points the canonical URL and the share cards at your domain instead of the free address. Until then, share cards use {slug}.nertia.ai. The setup is in Custom domains.
Social profiles
Your social links live on the Social tab under Channels. Connect Facebook, Instagram, Threads or LinkedIn to post from nertia, or add a profile link to show it on the site. Sync social profiles to site points every social link and button on the site at those profiles, then Save social profiles.
Posting and scheduling from nertia, and the Google Sheet prep board, are on Particle and Wave. See Plans and billing.
Analytics
The Analytics tab shows views and visitors on your published site, counted by nertia with a small beacon and no third-party trackers. Overview shows the last seven days. If you use Google Analytics, paste your measurement ID there and the tag goes on the live site.
