Getting started
Sign up, describe your site, and put it live on a free address.
What is free
The whole builder: every section, every layout, every design system, the Claude connector, and as many collaborators as you like. Your site lives at https://{slug}.nertia.ai. No card.
Your own domain, social posting and AI come with Particle and Wave. See Plans and billing.
1. Sign up
Go to nertia.ai/signup. Press Continue with Google, or enter a name, an email and a password and press Create account. Forgot your password later? Forgot password? on the sign-in page sends a reset link.
2. Describe the site
Signed in with no sites yet, you land on New site. It asks one question: What are you building?
- Type a line, like "a landing page for a dog groomer in Bend", or pick one of the shapes: a landing page for a service, a portfolio, a link page, a store.
- Below the prompt, pick a Layout or a Design system if you already know the look you want. Or leave them and let the first build choose.
- Attach up to five Links: your current website, a Google Doc with your copy, a Sheet with your products. Each link takes a short note saying what it is. You can also attach a design file or a
.nertia.jsonsite file.
Press Build. The editor opens with a first draft, and the chat tells you what it did.
If you sign up while building, attach your files again once you are back. Links carry through sign-in, files do not.
Templates and layouts are also in the main nav. Use template on Templates and New site on a layout both open New site with that choice made.
3. Find your way around
Every site has the same tabs:

| Settings | Name, address, members, footer, directory listing, delete |

4. Make it yours
In the editor, switch on Edit text and click any words to change them, or tell the Chat what to change. Add holds the sections and elements. Layers is the page as a tree. Select anything and the Element panel shows its styles.
For the site's whole look, open Design, or use the Styles toggle on the top bar to try a saved look.
5. Put it live
- Press Publish on the editor's top bar.
- The first time, nertia asks you to Pick your address. Enter your business name and tidy the URL. It becomes permanent the moment the site goes live.
- Confirm Publish and put the site live?
Your site is at https://{slug}.nertia.ai. Share on Overview copies the link. Everything about previews, releases and going offline is in Publish and preview.
