Guides
Sell on your site
Ten short guides that take a nertia site from no store to shipped orders, in the order you will need them.
A store on nertia is your own Stripe account plus three pages your site grows when you connect it: a product page, a cart and an order page. Payments land in your Stripe balance. nertia takes no cut.
| Guide | You end up with |
|---|---|
| Add a store to a site | The Store tab, the plan it needs, and the three pages a store adds |
| Pick a store template | A new site built on one of the three store templates, sample products included |
| Add products and variants | Your own products, with sizes or flavours where you need them |
| Connect Stripe | A Stripe account linked to the site and ready to take payments |
| Set shipping and tax | Where you ship, what it costs, whether Stripe Tax collects for you |
| Test a checkout | A test order placed with a test card, start to finish |
| Read the Orders tab | Every paid order, the ship-to address, Mark shipped with tracking |
| Refunds | A refund made in Stripe and reflected on the order |
| Go live checklist | The list to run before you take a real card |
| Printful fulfilment | How a store works when Printful prints and ships |
Before any of it
- A store needs Particle or Wave. On Zero-Point the Store tab offers the move instead of a form. See Plans and billing.
- You need a Stripe account, or ten minutes to make one. Stripe asks for your legal name, a bank account and a few business details.
- Only the site owner can connect Stripe or change store settings. Managers can see the store and the orders.
The short version
- Open your site, pick Store, press Connect Stripe and finish on Stripe.
- Back on nertia, set where you ship and what it costs. Save.
- Add products under Products. They go live the moment you save.
- Publish the site. The product, cart and order pages publish with it.
- Buy something with a test card. Find it under Orders. Mark it shipped.
